Almost everyone was jewish in Krakow before the Nazi occupation 1939-1945 !

Schindler’s List tells the story of how Oskar Schindler, an ethnic German industrialist from the Sudetenland in what is now the Czech Republic, saved 1098 Jews from the misery of having to work at the Nazi forced labor camp at Plaszow, by employing them in his factory in the Zablocie district of Krakow ❤️

Since the fall of Communism in Poland in 1989, Kazimierz revived as a Jewish community, and it become a popular tourist attraction with where the movie Schindler’s List was filmed.
